Mike lives in the attic above LuxFilms, an arrangement that began as squatting at his place of employment, and has turned into a sort of unspoken agreement with the theater's owner. Reached by a staircase on the building's second floor, the space has mostly been used to store old props and set pieces from before the theater fully transitioned into showing movies. It consists of three distinct sections: the unfinished area up front, a partially-finished middle section with access to the roof and projection room, and a massive storage area.
The black areas on the floorplan aren't walls - they're a dense horde of furniture, set pieces, shelves, and just about anything else imaginable, with little rooms carved out around and through them. Currently, only bedroom #2 is actually set up to be a sleeping area - the rest are labeled for demonstration in the event anyone else winds up living there. There are no windows, however there are a couple of skylights and several lamps. The kitchen has a microwave and a coffee pot, but no fridge or other cooking surfaces. Those can be found on the first floor of the theater. There is also no running water - bathrooms are on the first floor, and showers are next door at a 24-hour gym. Rooms are divided with curtains, sheets, pieces of plywood, or anything else that can be found around the property.
